Turboatom VAT : PJSC “Turboatom” implemented control assemblage of equipment for TPP Aksu (Kazakhstan)

In June 2015 specialists of PJSC "Turboatom" submitted for customer equipment for Unit No 5 TPP Aksu.

Control assemblage of turbine К-325-23,5was implemented on test bench. In presence of customer equipment passed control assemblage with check of abutment horizontal splits of outer and inner casing of cylinders seal carriers, diaphragms, seal shell. Also axial and radials gaps were checked on flow parts of turbine cylinders, acceleration of every rotor in all cylinders form mean position to the side of governor and to side of generator. Under results of checks Acceptance Certificate, certifying that equipment manufactured in accordance with Contract requirements was signed.

Parts of turbine will be dismantled, inspected, preserved, than will be send to Power Plant, there, in presents of "Turboatom`s" supervision-engineer will take place mounting and starting-up and adjustment works.

Under Contract signed in July 2012 at Unit No 5 TPP Aksu "Turboatom" implements change of unit К-300-240 for turbine of a new generation К-325-23,5. After modernization capacity of turbine will increase on 25 MW, increase Efficiency, also life-time of Unit and whole Power Plant will be prolonged and ecological indexes of TPP will be improved. Besides designing, manufacture and supply, plant will implement supervision of erection and participate in starting-up and adjustment works.

It is the sixth unit, renovated by "Turboatom". Previously took place commissioning of turbines at Units Nos 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6.

At all eight Units of TPP Aksu, starting from 1968 installed steam turbines manufactured by PJSC "Turboatom".
