INDORE: Vacating stay over execution of non-bailable warrant issued by Shajapur local court against Sudhanshu Maharaj, Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh high court on Thursday directed him to appear before Shajapur local court before July 30, in a case of cheating and forgery.
Industrialist Mahaveer Prasad Mansinghka had filed a complaint in Shajapur local court in 2010, alleging that Sudhanshu Maharaj’s ‘Vishwa Jagriti Mission’, to which he had donated Rs 53 lakh for getting relaxation under Section 80-G of Income Tax Act, was turned down by the department on the ground that mission had no such facility.

The department also imposed a penalty on Mansinghka in this regard, following which he had filed a complaint in Shajapur local court alleging that the mission was misleading people on the issue.
Advocate Manohar Dalal said after going through all documents, local court in 2010, had issued a non-bailable warrant against Sudhanshu Maharaj and nine others. Following which, Sudhanshu Maharaj had filed a petition before HC, on which, court had stayed execution of non-bailable warrant issued by court in Shajapur.
Now, after five years, Justice Alok Verma quashed the petition of Sudhanshu Maharaj and vacated stay over execution of non-bailable warrant.
