Inspired by father, Vandana plays an alien with a hearing problem

Vandana Pathak, known for her comic roles, will now play an alien in Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai. And the role is inspired by her father Arvind Vaidya’s role in the show 'Sarabhavi Vs Sarabhai' 10 years ago.
Arvind had enacted the role of a deaf grandfather and the way he said ‘Hain?’ had become quite popular among the viewers then.

Says Vandana, “I had to go back and watch a few episodes of 'Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai' to enact this.My father is a natural actor, so when he uttered ‘hain’, it didn’t look like he was acting. Now, it will be a challenge to enact the same along with being an alien.”
