First fast of Ramazan will be observed on Friday, Dunya Group wishes the Ummah Ramazan Mubarak

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Ramazan moon has on Thursday been sighted in Lahore and various other cities of Pakistan. First fast of the month of Ramazan will be observed on Friday while Taraveeh are going to be offered tonight. Dunya Media Group has wished a very happy Ramazan to the entire Ummah on this occasion, reported Dunya News.

While wishing Ramazan Mubarak to the entire nation, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain have said that the nation may pray especially for the prosperity and security of Pakistan in this blessed month. They said that the enemies of Pakistan want to destabilize the country.

Government of Pakistan has issued a new schedule of load shedding for the month of Ramazan. According to LESCO, there will be no load shedding during Sehr, Aftar and Taraveeh hours but the 8-hour load shedding schedule for the industrial sector has been maintained.

K-Electric has also announced that there will be no load shedding during Sehr and Aftar hours. FESCO has also announced no load shedding during the Sehr and Aftar hours.

It is pertinent to mention here that the first Ramazan was observed in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries on Thursday.
