Godman sodomises boy in Indore ashram

INDORE: A 15-year-old minor boy was allegedly sodomised at ashram of Baba Laxman Das Maharaj by a self-proclaimed godman in Indore.
A case under section 377 (unnatural sex) has been registered against Vishnu Das, a godman who stays at the ashram, at Malharganj police station on Wednesday.
Police said the boy used to work in the cow shed of the ashram at Panchkuiyan area of the city. On February 27, between 1pm and 2pm, Vishu Das called the boy upstairs in the shed and asked the boy to give him a massage, thereafter he had unnatural sex with him, police said citing the complaint.
Parents of the boy live separately, the mother lives in Surat Nagar and father lives in Rajnagar of the city, the boy lives with his father, added police.
As per the complaint, the accused sodomised the boy a couple of times after the incident, but the boy could not muster the courage to tell anyone, it was only after he met his mother that he narrated the whole ordeal to her, who then came with him to lodge a complaint on Wednesday. No arrests have been made, however investigations are underway, said police.
