Priced at Rs 17,999, Micromax on Thursday launched its flagship smartphone Canvas Sliver 5, which the company claims is the slimmest and lightest in the world.
The phone weighs just 97 grams with a 5.1 mm thick body. The device, which has LTE support and a Sony Exmos CMOS chip-attached camera with Blue Filter, will come with an AMOLED display and will be available in two colours — gold and black.
The phone features an 8MP camera with a Sony IMX219 sensor and blue glass filter. Canvas Sliver has 5 mp front camera.
The phone will also sport a DiracHD audio suite that promises deeper sound and better bass.
It will come with a Airtel double data package and will be backed by a DDR3 RAM and a 2,000 mAH battery for longer usage.
The phone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snap dragon 401 processor and will be 4G/LTE enabled.
