The ruling TRS party failed to implement its promises and was engaged in buying MLAs from other parties, alleged Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Somnath Bharti. The TRS party was now engaged in a controversy with the TDP. Both the parties stand exposed in the scandal. The TRS party ruling had turned into a single family ruling and feudalistic.
“The TRS party was not talking about the shortcomings of Central government, as Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was expecting a Cabinet berth for his daughter and MP K. Kavitha,” Mr. Somnath Bharti alleged.
The AAP leader pointed out that the ruling party in the State promised three acre of land to poor Dalit families, but only a few were given and not all genuine got the benefit. Similarly, the universities in the State lay defunct, but State government failed to focus on strengthening them even after one year of assuming power.
He also found fault with the Mission Kakatiya programme and alleged that it was aimed at benefitting MLAs financially .
The AAP leader, who is also in-charge of party affairs in South India, was here as part of the ‘Mission Vistaar’ – the party expansion programmes. He was touring Telangana districts to assess the public mood.
