Ferrara, Trevino headline comedy this weekend, 6/18-20

You never know what you'll get with "7 Minutes in Heaven," but it probably won't be naked magicians. They already did that, and the lineup changes each time around.

Also in town this week are Tex-Mex funnyman Steve Trevino and Adam Ferrara, who's also an actor and a serious car guy.

This comic from south Texas is quickly becoming one of the hottest Latino comics in America, appearing on late-night talk shows and the controversial "Mind of Mencia." He also has starred in two headlining comedy specials, "Grandpa Joe's Son" on Showtime and the recent Netflix exclusive "Relatable."

Adam Ferrara

The host of History Channel's "Top Gear" is a two-time nominee for the American Comedy Awards' best male stand-up. Ferrara played Chief "Needles" Nelson on "Rescue Me" and appeared in TV's "Ugly Betty," "The King of Queens" and "Law & Order," as well as the films "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and "Definitely Maybe."

'7 Minutes in Heaven'

The adults-only variety show features a different host and lineup each time. Poets, dancers, jugglers, storytellers and others take the stage for seven minutes each. Past shows have included truth-or-dare games, doughnut-eating contests and naked stage magic. BJ Garrett will host on June 20 and Anthony Desamito on June 27.
