The Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University on Monday announced its awards for best books in Telugu Literature for the year 2012 and the university Vice-Chancellor, E. Siva Reddy released the list of books and authors here on Monday.
The award winning works include, ‘Sapthagiridhama Kaliyuga Sarvabhowma’ verse poetry by Dr.Rallabandi Kavita Prasad, ‘Dandeda’ free verse by Ponnala Balaiah,
‘Gadilopali Goda’ short story by Palamaneru Balaji, ‘Sruthi Layalu’ children’s literature by A.V.Subba Rao, ‘Jigiri’ novel by Peddinti Ashok Kumar, ‘Sahityakasamlo Sagam’ criticism by Katyayani Vidmahe, ‘Lavangi’ drama by K.V.L.N.Sarma, ‘Ananthakasam’ translation by Govinda Raju Ramakrishna Rao, and ‘Mungili’ in others category Dr. Sunkireddy Narayana Reddy
Dr. Kusuma Reddy got selected for the ‘Telugu Nruthyakala Samskruti’ in female writers category.
