The three daily trains from Hyderabad to Chennai, Charminar, Hyderabad and Kachiguda to Egmore, are not catering to the needs of commuters. A daily train with at least three AC chair car coaches on the lines of Janmabhoomi Express is likely to be introduced from July 1 this year. It will do well if Janmabhoomi Express is directed to run through Bhimavaram-Gudivada-Vijayawada instead of the existing route as there are number of trains in the main line i.e., Tadepalligudem-Eluru- Vijayawada.

Close ATMs without foolproof security
While appreciating the police for apprehending the suspect in Yousufguda ATM case, I would like to request the government to order closure of all ATMs in Hyderabad which do not have foolproof security. In Karnataka, after the assault in a Bangalore ATM, the Police Commissioner directed that all the ATM’s be closed if they do not have security.

Take up road works
The proposal to construct a four lane road on Yadagirgutta-Warangal highway is laudable. There are a number of major roads that need attention, but authorities are not showing ay interest in taking up road works. A foot-over bridge (FoB) is required at Ghatkesar railway station which connects north and south on its trunk roots to prevent accidents.
The road between Uppal ring road and Medipally has to be widened to ease traffic congestion.
I request the authorities concerned to take up road works as soon as possible.

Make roads
pedestrian-friendly
I am a resident of Greenlands. There are no streetlights from Canara Bank area to Sidhhi Jewellers and this is causing inconvenience to pedestrians. I recently had a fall after stepping on a pothole because of poor lighting. The high beam lights flashed by oncoming buses and vehicles make the road even more dangerous for pedestrians. I request the authorities to take measures to make the road pedestrian-friendly.
