UK broadcaster ITV has ordered a 6 x 30-minute current affairs series titled Real Stories with Ranvir Singh from ITV Studios-owned indie, Shiver.

Anchored by Singh (pictured), a journalist, alongside reporter Michael Underwood, the series is to explore the life-changing stories of ordinary people who have made headlines in the UK, and will intertwine real video footage with exclusive interviews.

“Ranvir brings all the warmth and empathy gained from her decade of front-line journalism experience to Real Stories with Ranvir Singh,” said Mike Blair, executive producer for Shiver, in a statement. “It’s a current affairs series with people at its heart, taking an in-depth look behind the headlines at the stories and issues that viewers really care about.”

Real Stories with Ranvir Singh – set to premiere on ITV this summer – is series produced by Jemma Martinez and exec produced by Mike Blair for Shiver.
