Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq Tuesday participated in the Public Information Campaign (PIC), organized by PIB, on generating awareness about Centrally-Sponsored Schemes, here today. The 3-day event was inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Monday.As many as 35 departments have installed their stalls depicting/demonstrating their products besides trained professionals are imparting training and other consultations to the visiting aspirant’s particularly unemployed youth to inform them about the benefits of various centrally/state sponsored schemes.The Minister appreciated the efforts of Press Information Bureau in organizing such awareness programmes for the benefit of the people especially the youth and urged for organizing such events in other districts of the state also.
