>>The last sentence in the Perspective page article, “ >When marriage is less than sacred ” (June 15, 2015), was incomplete. It should have read: “We take away from women the right to choose … and we allow men to maintain a hateful entitlement to the body of women .”

>>In connection with the article, “ >Heat wave threshold ignores public health impact ” (June 10, 2015), Dr. Dileep Mavalankar (co-author of the paper in the journal, PLOS ONE ) — from the Delhi-based Public Health Foundation of India and Head of the Indian Institute of Public Health, Ahmedabad — clarifies: “The IMD definition of heat wave should be based on rise in mortality and morbidity in each geo-climatic area. This will make it much more useful from public health point of view.”
