Once a year, GQ India hosts a celebration of the best dressed people in India – and we're not talking women. This weekend's celebration took place at Mumbai's Four Seasons Hotel, and brought together celebrities, designers and socialites, all dressed to stand out.

For the ladies, it was a steady dose of black: Shruti Haasan went androgynous in a black suit, Pernia Qureshi flashed some leg in a Temperley London gown, and both Aditi Rao Hydari and Neha Dhupia chose classic LBDs. Nimrat Kaur threw a midnight cape over her charcoal Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna gown for a femme fatale vibe.

Adding some colour to the mix were Huma Qureshi in a blue Anand Bhushan, Poorna Jagannathan in a red Gucci skirt and Taapsee Pannu in a floral yellow number.

While most men at the event kept it simple (Dino Morea was exceptionally sharp in a navy suit), Ranveer Singh coloured way outside the lines in animated pajamas, Sylvester the Cat slippers, sunglasses and a top hat. Of all the actor's outrageous red carpet looks, this is one his fans aren't going to forget anytime soon.
