Two held with fake Indian currency

JAMMU, June 14: Canal Road police arrested two pedestrians along with Rs 2,500 fake Indian currency.
As per police sources, police team from Canal Road police post intercepted two persons on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered Rs 2,500 fake Indian currency from their possession and arrested both the persons.
The accused have been identified as Ravinder Singh, son of Karam Singh of Patiala, Punjab and Suresh Kumar, son of Krishan Lal of Mankot, district Rajouri.
A case under FIR Number 85/15 under Section 489 CrPC has been registered at Canal Road police post and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Canal Road SI Sandeep Charak made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Sandeep Choudhary, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
