Karachi: Terrorist involved in Maripur railway track attack arrested
15 kilograms of explosive materials, 2 pistols, 1 detonator and a car was confiscated
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A terrorist involved in attack on railway track has been arrested from Maripur on Saturday. 15 kilograms of explosive materials and ammunition has been consfiscated as well, reported Dunya News.
During an operation in Mubarak Village, Maripur a terrorist named Irfan has been arrested who belongs to a banned outfit.
Talking to media, Incharge Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Ali Raza said that 15 kilograms of explosive materials, 2 pistols, 1 detonator and a car was confiscated from the terrorist.
Ali Raza told media that the arrested terrorist was also in contact with Indian intelligence agency RAW.
Police has rendered the explosive materials useless.
