A soldier died Friday after he slipped and rolled down into a deep gorge in Gurez sector of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.A police official told Kashmir Glory that the rifle man Ravinder Singh of 15 RR who was part of patrolling party today morning slipped and fell down into a gorge at Javard forest area of Gurez sector.In the incident, the rifleman sustained serious injuries and was immediately shifted to nearby hospital in unconscious state.
However, doctors present there declared him brought dead. (GNS)
