It’s been an year since Vishal Sikka took over the reins of Infosys as its first non-founder CEO. Sikka took charge at a time when of Infosys, once the flag bearer of India’s software industry was beginning fall behind other fleet footed industry rivals who had managed to wean away its business.

As the new chief of Infosys, Sikka had several challenges staring him in the face. But unfazed by them, Sikka stepped up to the plate and took the challenges head on. It’s been an eventful year for Infosys and a headline- a- day sort of term for Sikka. He has made some right moves, actually plenty of them. He is heading in the right direction to make Infosys the next generation software company. In this one year Infosys acquired Skava, Panaya and Kalllidus. He is chasing start-ups and betting big on futuristic technologies. Infosys now aims to be a $20-billion company by 2020.

Will Sikka be able to make Infosys the frontrunner of the Indian IT industry? ETCIO.COM posed the question to the IT leaders and here’s what they think.
