Vespa 946 by Giorgio Armani Is Here, Don't Ask for the Price

As of the Vespa 946 wasn't luxurious enough, Piaggio Group teamed up with another huge Italian name of world fame, Giorgio Armani. The result is a Vespa scooter that oozes exclusive design and which will only be available in a limited edition.

The two iconic Italian symbols are at celebrating big time, so the Vespa 946 Giorgio Armani can be regarded as an exclusive anniversary machine, as well. While the fashion guru celebrates 40 decades of excellence, Piaggio reaches their 130th anniversary. And if you still don't know what's with the 946 badge, it stands for the year 1946 when the first Vespa saw the light of day.

An exquisite color for an exquisite machine

The Vespa 946 by Giorgio Armani comes with a grey-green livery that's as exquisite as Armani himself. The green accent in the color are only revealed in a certain light, and are complemented by metal parts that received a galvanizing satin treatment.

With an Emporio Armani badging on the side covers and the iconic vulture on the headlight casing, the Vespa 946 by Giorgio Armani literally screams its luxury out.

Smartphone integration makes sure the scoot will be able to get along with the latest, most fashionable handheld devices, while retaining enhanced functionality. On the tech side, this ride comes with the same 125cc, 11hp engine, with ABS and ASR traction control as standard.

On the price side, however, we're tempted to say that if you ask for the price, you probably can't afford it. As the other special edition we introduced to you, the Vespa Bellissima was around €10,000 ($11,300), you can try to play the guessing game for yourselves on this one.

Still, this clearly isn't the very first commuter machine you'd lay eyes upon if monthly gas bills start to be a burden, is it? Luxury always comes at a price...
