Mushy or Scary? Vidya, Emraan’s romantic ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ releases with Irrfan Khan’s ‘Jurassic World’

Vidya Balan, who plays the role of Vasudha Prasad in the film, is happy to have her second romantic outing after ‘Parineeta’. “I am happy because 10 years after my first film, I am still getting to do an intense love story,” the actress told Indian Express.

Vidya Balan, who has previously teamed up with Emraan Hashmi for big time hit ‘The Dirty Picture’, has been facing a bit of a lull as far as box office successes are concerned with last few releases, ”Ghanchakkar’, ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ and ‘Bobby Jasoos’. Talking about this difficult time, Vidya had said: “The films didn’t work. I don’t want to sound immodest or arrogant, but after going on stage four years in a row to get Best Actor (female) trophies, I had proved it to myself beyond a point. I had enjoyed the commercial success and the critical acclaim, so at some level I didn’t think it mattered. But, nobody knows what I was going through during this phase.”

Since ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ is said to be ‘An Incomplete Love Story,’ Vidya says anything incomplete is raw and real. “It’s the uncertainty that makes us love incomplete stories. That feeling of ho bhi sakta hai yaa nahin keeps it alive. Happily-ever-after in films can get boring but in real life, it’s a must,” says the actress.

Produced by Vishesh Films under the Bhatt banner, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ also features National-award winning actor, Rajkummar Rao as Hari and Sara Khan along with Madhurima Tuli.

‘Jurassic World’ on the other hand is going to be an absolute treat for dino lovers and action enthusiasts. The film revolves around a genetically modified dinosaur who escapes on an island trapping 20,000 people along with it.

This science fiction adventure film is the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park film series. Actor Irrfan Khan portrays the role of Simon Masrani, CEO of the Masrani Corporation and the owner of Jurassic World. Chris Pratt on the other hand is seen as a Velociraptor tamer in the film.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, ‘Jurassic World’ also stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson and Omar Sy.
