Mohit Raut hits century against VCA Academy

NAGPUR: Guided by a superb hundred by Mohit Raut (113), District B posted a decent score of 299 in their first innings against VCA Academy in the semifinal of the Inter-Academy U-19 Cricket tournament at the Ambedkar College ground on Thursday.
Raut punished all the VCA Academy bowlers during his knock of 93 balls. The attacking batsman hammered 18 fours and three sixes. He got good support from Shubham Patil (51, 57b, 7x4) and Rohit Roy (38).
Yash Thakur (4 for 37) was the most successful bowler for VCA Academy.
At stumps, VCA Academy were 18 without loss with Ajinkya Prachand (10) and Yash Rathod (8) were batting at the crease.
In the second semifinal being played at the City Gymkhana ground, Ruby Club were rolled over for mere 175 in 48.4 overs. Manan Sahare struck 57.
Shubham Zende bowled well to return with 3 for 34. Aditya Khilote and Siddhesh Dandewar took a couple of wickets each.
Reshimbagh Gymkhana lost their first wicket early and were 10 for one at close.
