It’s a summer for (flamenco and reggaeton) dancing in the streets: Enrique Iglesias‘ “Bailando,” with Descemer Bueno and Gente de Zona, has emerged as summer 2014’s leading Latin song. The runaway single from “Sex and Love” is currently no. 1 on five of the Billboard Latin charts.
Now that school’s out and party season has officially begun, newcomer J Balvin‘s morning after anthem “6 a.m.,” featuring Farruko, is a serious contender for summer favorite.
Balvin, who will open for Iglesias on tour this summer, holds the no. 1 spot on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. “6 a.m.” is in second position on Latin Airplay. Could J. unseat Enrique’s no. 1 on the that chart with “6 a.m.”?
In this week’s Latin Notas poll, we want to know: Which song is your summer favorite, “Bailando” or “6 a.m.”?
