Videocon d2h on Wednesday said it brought down its losses by 14.7% to Rs 272.7 crore for Fy15 on the back of strong subscriber growth. The company’s net subscribers addition stood at 17.4 lakh during the fiscal.
During fiscal 2015, the NASDAQ-listed company improved its revenues from operations by 32.5% to Rs 2337.7 croreon an annual basis, while subscription revenues were up 38.3% to Rs 2058.1 crore.
The company’s adjusted EBITDA grew 55.3% to Rs 609 crore during the above mentioned period, while its Average Revenue per User (ARPU) grew to Rs 196.
“We are pleased to announce that we successfully listed American Depositary Shares on NASDAQ in April, becoming the most valued Indian company to be listed on the NASDAQ. We maintained our market leadership in subscriber growth and reported key financial metrics ahead of the guidance provided during the listing process,” said Videocon’s executive chairman Saurabh Dhoot in a statement.
Videocon d2h, a market leader in India in the segment, said that it added 2.64 million gross subscribers in fiscal 2015. At the end of FY15, Videocon d2h gross subscribers base stood at 1.309 crore, while its net subscribers base stood at 1.018 crore.
