Cricketer interacts with students, speaks of ambitions

The 32{+n}{+d}batch of students of Kalasalingam University here interacted with Sanju Viswanath Samson, Vice-Caption of the India Under-19 cricket team and who plays for Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League, during a refresher programme. Kalasalingam University is a partner of Rajasthan Royals.

During the interaction, Sanju spoke about his cricket life, his heroes and ambitions. It was his father’s encouragement that made him play for India Under-19 cricket team, he said. S. Saravanasankar, Vice-Chancellor, presided over the programme.

Murali Krishnan, who represented the university administration, explained how Kalasalingam University gave equal importance to academic and co-curricular activities like arts, sports and yoga, according to a press release.

Rajesh, faculty member, proposed a vote of thanks on the occasion.
