The Himachal chapter of the Aam Aadmi Party will organise its first-ever “Jan Chetna” rally in the hill State on Tuesday.
The rally will be addressed by Sanjay Singh, who is also the State party in-charge, party spokesperson Ashutosh, president of Delhi Dialogue Ashish Khetan and Himachal State convener Rajan Sushant. State spokesperson Subhash Chandra said the party had given the slogan “Baiman Bhagao, Pradesh Bachao” to its first ever anti-corruption rally in the hill State. He said the AAP would expose the successive Congress and BJP governments of Himachal for indulging in rampant corruption vis-à-vis Section 118 of the Himachal Pradesh Land Reform and Tenancy Act.
‘Himachal in debt’
The tiny hill State is reeling under a heavy debt of Rs. 35,000 crore which would touch Rs. 40,000 crore by the end of year 2017 owing to faulty financial policies of both the BJP and the Congress, the AAP said.
