Rohit Dhawan’s upcoming directorial venture, Dishoom has already given a lot to the Bollywood fans to look forward to. Right from the location to the casting and how the film seems to go about, all has created a very interesting blend that would be a visual feast on the big screen.

The cast of the film includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna in negative roles against Rohit’s younger brother Varun Dhawan and Bollywood hunk John Abraham.

Badlapur avenger Varun Dhawan is under training for Urdu diction for the film. His role in the movie is not known as yet but it requires him to speak the language fluently.

Varun made his acting debut in Karan Johar’s rom-com Student of the Year and before that he worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar on My Name is Khan. He was also the protagonist in comedy films Main Tera Hero and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

As reported by Bollywood Helpline, Varun will be sharing the screen with John Abraham for the first time in Dishoom. The actors will be seen performing hardcore action in the movie. They have started taking police combat training by action director Allan Amin and Hollywood action maestro Stefan Richter, who designed Salman Khan’s stunts in Kick.

Akshaye Khanna will be playing the role of an Afghan antagonist. Akshaye disappeared from the Bollywood scene after his movie Gali Gali Chor hai in 2012 but now seems to be making a comeback. He has previously played villain in Humraaz and Race where his roles were well appreciated. Dishoom might get him into the groove once again.

The prime shooting location of Dishoom is Abu Dhabi. The city with its high-rise landscape has lately become a hit capital for action sequences. Movies like Fast & Furious 7 where Vin Diesel crashed out of the 45th floor of the tallest of the five buildings in Etihad Towers in his sports car and Bollywood’s Bang Bang starring Hrithick Roshan were shot there.

Dishoom is scheduled to release in April 2016.
