Ankuram, directed by Deepesh T. Kannur, has been adjudged the best feature film, and Mann directed by Sangeeth Dileep Susi is the best short film at the third Green Festival organised jointly by the Centre for Gandhian Studies of the University of Kerala, Noorul Islam University, and the Nehru Yuva Kendra.

Nenmanikyam by M. Venukumar has been selected as the best documentary. Ente Nagaram Manoharam, Pakshe , a documentary made by Aparna Prabhakar of Cotton Hill Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Cotton Hill and Sera Mariyam Binny of Holy Angels’ Convent Higher Secondary School, was given a special award. Poet Sugathakumari presented the awards.
