Dehradun: DGP BS Sidhu honoured the winners of the 15th Inter-District Police Sports Tournament at the Police Headquarters here today. The winners of boxing and wrestling competition met the state police chief at his office. Sidhu appreciated the sportpersons and wish them good luck for a bright and prosperous future.
The tournament was held at the Police Lines in Rudrapur. Eight policemen from Dehradun won medals in different sports events. Vishal Kumar and Rahul won gold medals in boxing, whereas Jogendar Kumar, Vishwas Kumar, Bharat Veer and Ritu Joshi won gold in wrestling, while Amit Kumar and Vivek won bronze medals.
