Jerusalem Post reporter to receive B’nai B’rith award

Sam Sokol, the Jerusalem Post’s Jewish World correspondent, will be recognized for journalistic excellence on Monday at B’nai B’rith International’s annual World Center Award for Journalism Recognizing Excellence in Diaspora Reportage ceremony. At the Jerusalem event, world-renowned jurist and professor emeritus at Harvard University, Alan Dershowitz, will address attendees during a Q&A with Post columnist and editor, Liat Collins.
Channel 10’s chief international correspondent Nadav Eyal will also receive an award for excellence in Diaspora reporting, while a special citation for contribution to Israel-Diaspora Relations through the arts will be presented to acclaimed singer David D’Or, who will also perform. Additionally, a lifetime achievement award in memory of Luis and Trudi Schydlowsky will be presented to “Kol Yisrael,” the Voice of Israel Radio, for its long-running program “Searching for Missing Relatives."
