Guruji selects Dumka village for Adarsh gram

DUMKA: JMM chief Shibu Soren on Saturday presided over the review meeting for the development of Ranga village under Masaliya block of the district under Adarsh Gram Yojna.
Ranga, which also enjoys the status of a panchayat is deprived of basic facilities of civic amenities including roads, electricity, education and health and has been selected by Soren for overall development under the central government’s scheme of Adarsh gram to be selected by parliamentarians under their respective constituencies.
The deputy commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha directed the officials of the concerned departments for execution of developmental schemes under the stipulated time. “The centrally sponsored schemes too are supposed to be linked with the state sponsored ones so that Ranga emerges as a model village in the state,” Kumar emphasized.
