Rajesh Khera has been missing from the small screen for a while, but now, the actor will be seen in a few episodes of '
Akbar Birbal'. Rajesh was last seen playing a eunuch in 'Uttaran' and was even supposed to play Betaal in 'Sinhasan Battisi', but had to opt out on medical grounds. However, he will now be playing a
historical character, and that too for the first time, on the show.
“I will be playing Mirza Hakim, Akbar’s step-brother, who is jealous of his brother.
He keeps conspiring against his brother, who loves him and keeps forgiving him. This is the first time I am playing a historical character and since it’s also comedy, the idea is to go a little overboard. I have to look royal and I am playing a Mughal. There are actors like Kiku Sharda and Delnaaz on the show who are brilliant, so it’s been quite fun on the sets,” he said.

I would clap and end up getting hurt,” he added.
