According to reports, superstar Govinda got emotional at the film launch of his daughter, Tina Ahuja. The actor recalled his struggling days and was reported as saying that there was a time when he had no money for even a rickshaw or taxi ride but then he ended up signing 48 films at one go. According to a report on mid-day, Anurag Kashyap's dream project Bombay Velvet is rumored to have hit another block. Apparently the movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma has gone beyond it's original budget and production partners Fox Studio are willing to part with the final installment only if the movie manages to Break-even with its cost. However Kashyap took the report lightly by saying that it is a regular practice in the industry to release the final ten percent of the funding during the delivery of the final product. According to the report he even made a joke that stories regarding Bombay Velvet are running out and a new one had to be cropped in. The movie hits the big screen on the 15th of May 2015.

Actress Shweta Prasad may be remembered for her performance in films like 'Makdee' for which she won the National Award for Best Child Artist in 2002 and another spectacular one in Shreyas Talpade starrer 'Iqbal'. Shweta rose to fame as a child artist in Ekta Kapoor's popular show 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki'. The bubbly child star who is now 23 years old shocked everyone when she was caught in a prostitution racket that was busted in Hyderabad. According to a report in IANS, the actress said she took to sex trade as she was running out of money. She said she was out of money and had to support her family along with other good causes. The report further mentions that Shweta said all doors were closed for her and that some people encouraged her to get into prostitution to earn money.

The mega star's company ABCL went bankrupt and the actor owed money worth Rs. 90 crore to the people. Hounded by creditors, ABCL that aimed to become India's pioneering entertainment company, approached the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction to seek protection under the bankruptcy laws. Big B's ambitious project was dismantling in front of his eyes, so much so that the actor had to keep his bungalow 'Prateeksha' for mortgage. According to OneIndia, in an interview Big B said "In the year 2000, when the entire world was celebrating the new century, I was celebrating my disastrous fortune. There were no films, no money, no company, a million legal cases against the company and the tax authorities had put notice of recovery on my home". Amitabh was offerred to host the TV show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and his fate changed soon after. Rest as they say is history as he once again climbed the success ladder and he comes forward to help those who need financial support in the industry.

Jagdish Mali: One of Bollywood's biggest photographers, Jagdish Mali also known as actor Antara Mali's father was found in a disheveled state on the streets of Andheri wearing nothing but a shirt and covered in mud. Model and actress Mink Brar who was last seen in 'Bigg Boss 6' spotted Jagdish Mali in this pitiable condition while she was distributing blankets at Yari Road in Andheri, Mumbai. Mink contacted actor Salman Khan who came forward to help the ace photographer. On the other hand, Jagdish's daughter Antara Mali rubbished reports of her abandoning her father and refuting claims that he was mentally ill and needed help. The photographer's face was slapped across national dailies in a disheveled state and Salman Khan reportedly even got angry at his daughter's casual attitude. According to a news report in India Today, Salman said "What is the daughter saying? Her father was walking down Yari Road without clothes, now who needs help?" The photographer had reportedly fallen on hard times which had forced him to sell his studio and apparently could also be suffering from alcohol addiction.
