Kalipandi (18), son of Veerapandi of Ramar Compound, M.K. Puram, who was admitted to Government Rajaji Hospital with multiple injuries, succumbed on Friday.
On May 27, Kalipandi and his friend P. Nagaraj (18) of Solai Alagupuram had gone to a park in Villapuram to play cricket. Later, Kalipandi was left in front of his house with a serious injury. He was rushed to the GRH where he died after about 10 days. The police have booked a case of murder and are on the look out for Nagaraj and others.
Bypass Road accident
Prasanna (35), a sales representative of a pharmaceuticalfirm, was killed in a road accident on Friday. He was riding a two-wheeler on Bypass Road when an autorickshaw going in front of him stopped all of a sudden. He applied the brakes and stopped the two-wheeler but a speeding water tanker hit him from behind and he died on the spot.
