Sat Sharma tours Ward 28

JAMMU, June 5: In order to start developmental works in Ward Number 28, Gurha Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu West, State vice president BJP & MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) toured the areas along with Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) & PWD officials. Scores of people hailing from the area also accompanied the MLA during his tour in various areas of the Ward. Many political and social activists were also present on the occasion.
In a press statement issued later, Sat Sharma (CA) said that the locals apprised him of the problems they have been facing in their areas pertaining to ration Supply which has been delayed from the department for the last one month and there is a hue and cry in the public for the shortage of ration in Government Depot in their areas.
The MLA assured the people that the pending ration of May will be available to public before June 30.
The MLA also assured the people that the problem of water supply in the area will also be handled accordingly so that public might not face any problems in extreme summers.
He also instructed the R&B officials to start the works of black topping in the area immediately to provide better connectivity of roads in the area which have been damaged from past so many years.
He announced the work of a lane and drain in Gurha through his CDF (Constituency Development Fund).
The MLA also directed the JMC officials to provide proper sanitation facility in the locality in order to build a clean aura around and promoting “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan”.
BJP Mandal president Ayodhya Gupta, Tripta Jamwal, Karan Sat Sharma, Prem Gupta and others accompanied MLA.
