Mysskin gave me confidence to play a baddie: Pandiarajan

Actor-director will be seen in a role that has shades of grey in upcoming film Saalaiyoram

Actor-director Pandiarajan, will be seen in a role that has shades of grey after a long time, in his upcoming film Saalaiyoram. Directed by Murthy Kannan, a former assistant to P Vasu, it has newcomers Raj and Serena as the lead pair. Pandiarajan played a villain for the first time in Mysskin’s Anjathe a few years back and his performance was critically acclaimed.

On repeating the antagonist act Pandiarajan said, it was Mysskin, who gave him confidence to take up the role. “When Mysskin signed me to play a baddie in Anjathe, I was very apprehensive and told him that it wouldn’t work out. But he was confident that I would be a hit as a villain,” Pandiarajan tells us. “This only proves that a competent filmmaker can make any actor play any character and do it justice, to his/her creative abilities,” he signs off.
