Daily Data Viz: Stan Wawrinka vs. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga semifinal

Comparing Stan Wawrinka and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in their semifinal matchup at the 2015 French Open.

Stan Wawrinka and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will face off in the first men's semifinal on Friday at the French Open. Their head to head is tied at three wins each and this will be their third meeting here at Roland Garros. Wawrinka won in five sets in Paris in 2011, while Tsonga took the match in five sets in 2012. Wawrinka has won their last two matches including the Davis Cup Final last year in France.

Both players have dominant first serves and huge forehands, but Wawrinka has the bigger backhand, giving him an advantage in the rallies. But Tsonga will have the French crowd behind him—that could help or hinder his chances depending on how he reacts the pressure of their expectations on Court Philippe Chatrier. How do No. 8 Tsonga and No. 14 Wawrinka match up?
