Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 5 2015 6:25PM Canteen staff assaults pilgrims in Annavaram,2 heldKakinada, June 5(UNI) Six pilgrims from Ongole Town in Prakasam District were injured when the canteen staff on uphills of the holy shrine of Annavaram assaulted them using sticks following heated exchanges over the quality of the food served. One of the pilgrims sustained severe head injury while the others suffered bruises all over the body. By the time the police from downhill reached the spot, all the five accused ran away. However two of them were caught and search on for the others. A case was registered and pending further investigation, the injured have been rushed to government hospital at Tuni for treatment, police said.
