Samrajyam 2 releases finally

After an years-long wait, Samrajyam-2, sequel to the original 1990 Mammootty starrer, released today. The film stars Unni Mukundan in the lead, as the son of Alexander, Mammooty's character. Written and directed by Perarasu, the film got delayed due to different reasons, including certain issues among the makers. Mohammed Shafeeque had filed a case against the producers alleging that he was the one who wrote the screenplay and story, and not Perarasu, as specified in the credits.
Akanksha Puri and Vijayaraghavan play the other important roles in the film.
