Four of the 11 girls who escaped from the State home at Yousufguda on Wednesday were found by the police and brought back to the centre. Six girls escaped from the State Children’s Home and the remaining from the Government Rescue Home. Three girls were caught at Monda market and another girl returned on her own on Thursday. Teams of Women and Child Welfare Department and police are searching for the remaining inmates.

Meanwhile, Minister for Women and Child Welfare T. Nageswara Rao visited the State home and reviewed the security and other facilities. He came down heavily on the staff following complaints of mismanagement.
