The chatter surrounding Baahubali gets noisier

June 05, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 11:04 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Even though she is not part of the Baahubali team, actor Samantha has been vocal about the magnum opus online, only to court controversy.

After a two-minute theatrical trailer of director S.S. Rajamouli’s most ambitious project was released a few days ago, Samantha tweeted, “The moment we have all been waiting for is here #BaahubaliTrailer mind =blown =still blown = call the ambulance (sic)”. Now, some found this tweet sarcastic and few others felt she was genuinely in awe of the movie.

Not too long ago, Rajamouli and Samantha had an unusual Twitter encounter. When Samantha replied to one of her fans that she would have loved to be part of Baahubali , Rajamouli was quick to remind her that he had indeed offered her a special role, which she had rejected due to date problems.

In more news, after the audio function was postponed due to objection from the police, there is more that has disappointed the fans. The Telugu trailer of the movie was taken down by YouTube citing ‘violation’ of its policies. Now, in its official YouTube page, the trailers are in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

The hero and director of this yet-untitled big budget movie are eagerly looking forward to a hit that has eluded them for quite a while.

DVV Danayya’s ‘DVV Entertainments’ film starring Ram Charan Tej and a rapidly-up-and-coming, ravishing Rakul Preet Singh is being directed by Dookudu fame Sreenu Vaitla, who has also penned the story and screenplay.

Probably because they needed summer locations, the unit has just returned after a 10-day stint in Europe to shoot songs.

News is that the schedule that began on Wednesday will last long enough for the film to be canned completely, with a release scheduled for October 15. Kona Venkat has penned the dialogues, his buddy Gopi Mohan has written the story. Director of Photography Manoj Paramahamsa’s camera movements are said to be in sync with S.S. Thaman’s music.
