After opening preschools in many states, Chandigarh based Kinderpillar targets 200 schools in franchise mode

Chandigarh based school chain Kinderpillar Ivy League is planning to open 200 pre-schools in India and abroad by the end 2016 in the franchise mode.

After opening preschools across Punjab, Maharashtra, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh and Chandigarh besides Kathmandu, Chandigarh based school chain Kinderpillar Ivy League is planning to open 200 pre-schools in India and abroad by the end 2016 in the franchise mode.

Ms Roopa Grewal, Director, Kinderpillar said in a release issued here today that education would be the top franchise industry to watch in 2015. She said that 13.12 percent of the population is in the age group of 0 to 6 years. The statistics suggest that the early childhood education sector is estimated to generate revenue of USD 3.25 billion by 2017 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.33 percent.  She said that with only 17% of the industry in the organised sector, it provides a great opportunity to leading national chains like Kinderpillar to develop more preschools in the tier-III and tier-IV cities across India.

Launched in the country by a group of educationists led by Prof Ellen Booth Church, chief mentor from the USA and a well known author, the preschool offers international standard early childhood education to kids at the toddler, play way, nursery, junior Kindergarten and senior Kindergarten levels. The chain has been adjudged as the best preschool chain of the year by the industry body, ASSOCHAM and rated amongst the top most promising schools of India by SiliconIndia

Ms. Roopa Grewal said that it is extremely important for children to be provided with a firm foundation since the first 2000 days of a child’s life are the most critical for brain development.
