ARTO plans extension office in Sector 69

NOIDA: The additional regional transport officer is planning to set up an extension office in Transport Nagar in Sector 69 to share some work load of the transport department. Rachna Yaduvanshi, ARTO (administration) said at present the transport office is located in a small space in Sector 32 which is insufficient for executing all its work.
"We had a meeting with the officials of Noida Authority and they have offered to set up the ARTO office in Transport Nagar.We want to set up an extension office there to shed some work load of the transport department, which witnesses about 2,000 visitors on weekdays," Yaduvanshi said.
The Noida Authority has also decided to allot spaces for the city transporters in Transport Nagar to facilitate communication between the transporters and ARTO. The authority will also make space for parking of commercial vehicles to put an end to traffic jams and illegal parking. The ARTO will soon submit the list of transporters to the authority.
