Amarnath board organises puja at Chandanwari

PK Tripathi, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, performed “Pratham Pooja” on the auspicious occasion of Jyesht Purnima at Chandanwari on the traditional Pahalgam-holy cave track today. The event was marked by chanting of Vedic mantras to invoke the blessings of Shri Amarnathji for the smooth conduct of the yatra to the holy cave shrine.

The Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) organizes “Pratham Pooja” on the auspicious occasion of Jyesht Purnima every year to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for the peaceful conduct of the yatra.

The CEO, who was accompanied by Jitendra Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Executive Officer,  and RK Pandita, GM (Works) of the Shrine Board, also inspected ongoing works at the Access Control Gate at Chandanwari and directed officials of the R&B Department to expedite work on the erection of shelter sheds and ensure timely repair of all damaged infrastructure. 

The CEO asked engineers and officers of all departments concerned and agencies to work on a war footing to complete yatra-related arrangements at all camps on this route by June 30.
