The historical Mindal Yatra from Blasso, Sui Gadi, Doda to Mindal Bhattas, Himachal Pardesh was flagged off by MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar from Blasso Doda today in which thousands of devotees participated amid chanting of bhajans and religious slogans.Speaking on the occasion MLA stressed that such yatras helps in preserving the rich cultural heritage of the region and help strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and harmony .Later Shakti Raj Parihar held series of Public grievances redressal camps in Suhanda area of the Doda District and listened to the problems and demands of the people of the area. Officers of District Administration, prominent citizens, representations of PRIs, Social organization and common masses were present in the camps. Enroute from Doda to Suhanda various deputations called on the MLA and raised various issues and demands which include the timely restoration of road connectivity, water shortage, shortage of staff in educational institutions, unauthorized absence of teachers from the schools, unscheduled Electric Power cuts, Excessive load on the existing transformers, availability of ration in CA&PD stores.Mr. Parihar gave a patient hearing to the demands projected and gave necessary directions to the concerned officers to take adequate steps in this regard .
Taking serious note of un authorized absence of the teachers posted in these rural areas and to ensure punctuality of teachers in the schools MLA directed the ZEOs to take strict action against such derelictions and asked him to strictly monitor the performance and punctuality of the staff.Besides the supply of drinking water, stock position of the ration in CA&PD Stores among other issues were deliberated upon in the redressal camps and necessary instruction were passed on the spot to the concerned departments to redress them on war footing.
