Hong Kong Aviation Capital delivers its first A320- 200 to Volaris

Hong Kong Aviation Capital (HKAC) delivered today a new A320-200 Sharklet equipped, to Volaris, an ultra-low-cost airline in Mexico, as the first of seven A320 aircraft that it will lease to the airline under a purchase and lease back arrangement.

Donal Boylan, CEO of HKAC commented: “It is a privilege for HKAC to do business with Volaris. More than 80% of our single aisle aircraft portfolio is currently with Low Cost Carriers. We are extremely pleased that Volaris has chosen HKAC as a significant lessor in its supply chain. This is the first of seven aircraft which will give HKAC the opportunity to benefit as Volaris strongly grow and to supplement the Volaris disciplined and high value approach for cost conscious travellers to date in Mexico.”

Enrique Beltranena, Director General & Chief Executive Officer of Volaris said: “This is our first new A320-200 on a long term lease with HKAC and we’re very proud to be expanding our relationship with such a leading counterparty. This A320-200 is well suited to Volaris’ business model and is part of our growth strategy plan.”
