So what do you when your television channel doesn’t telecast your favourite team in action? Internet seems to be the solution for ardent football lovers.

Playing with animation technology
The last time we heard about motion capture technology was when ‘Kochadaiyaan’ hit the screens. Now, kids can enjoy a similar experience on television.
Children who are crazy about Chutti TV channel’s mascot ‘Singoo’ can play with him through a live interactive game show. ‘Run Singoo Run’ is a show based on motion capture control where ‘Singoo’ is transformed into an animation character.
With this technology, children at home can enjoy gaming on television.
‘Singoo’ will be on a constant run to overcome challenges and also collects energy boosting articles strewn on the way.
At this point, viewers get to take part in the show and control Singoo’s speed.
“This is the latest technology taking home gaming through television. All a child need to have is a phone line and use keys as play buttons. They just need to call our number flashed during the show and start playing the game,” said Kavitha Jaubin, cluster head, Kids’ Channel, Sun TV Network.
A similar show was already a hit on Kochu TV, a kids channel in Malayalam. “We launched the first episode on Friday and got over 10,000 callers. We also plan to have interactive programme where children can meet Singoo so that they are not left disappointed,” she said.
The show will be aired during weekends between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
