People protest for road connectivity

NAGROTA, May 29:  The residents of Dhanu village (Nagrota constituency) today held a protest demonstration, demanding connectivity of their road with other adjacent villages, which was damaged in last year, heavy rains.
The protesters which were led by Subash Prashar, president, Shiv Sena Hindustan said that this road connectivity was damaged in September, 2014, but has not been restored yet. He added that about 70 families have been affected and the residents have to walk additional 5-Km more to reach this village for their day to-day domestic affairs.
The protesters warned of more vigorous protests in near future if their demand is not met with soon. Others present during the protest were Sarpanch of the area as well as Nashtar Singh and Ditan Ali.
