The Guggenheim S&P 500 Equal Weight Technology ETF (RYT) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 272,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 74,000. Shares of RYT were trading flat on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Apple (AAPL), trading off about 0.5% with over 23.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Intel (INTC), up about 1.4% on volume of over 21.2 million shares. Altera (ALTR) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 4.7% on the day, while Western Digital (WDC) is lagging other components of the Guggenheim S&P 500 Equal Weight Technology ETF, trading lower by about 1.3%.
