Three of a burglary gang arrested by LCB

VADODARA: Local crime branch (LCB), rural arrested three burglars on Thursday. LCB sleuths arrested the three after they received a tip off regarding their location.
The accused have been identified as Naresh Palash, Sardar Bhambhor, and Naresh Bariya. Upon interrogation the trio admitted the involvement of other three persons identified as Kishan Sangad, Ganpat Khodi and Bachchu Kharad.While Palash, Bhambhor and Kharad are residents of Gharbada district of Chhota Udepur, Bariya and Khodi are residents of Devgadh Baria district and Sangad is a resident of Dhanpur district.
On May 13, the gang broke into the residence of Ranjitsing Jadav at Vishranti Green society in Dabhoi town. After Jadav raised the alarm, other residents of the society joined to track down the gang. The gang later fled from the spot after firing a round in the air from a country-made pistol. Following the incident a complaint was filed at the Dabhoi police station.
According to LCB, apart from the burglary and firing incident the trio stole gold and silver jewellery from another house in Dabhoi town a month ago. The trio along with other group members also attempted to burgle a house in Karjan. They pelted stones at the villagers who intervened. The accused admitted their involvement in the burglary at jewellery store in Karjan town. The gang fled with cash and gold jewellery from the store.
