Z2 Entertainment is proud to present Etana & Selasee and the Fafa Family with Jahsonic at the Fox Theatre tonight, May 29th, 2015. Tickets are on sale March 6th for $12 ADV or $14 DOS.

Etana's name means "The Strong One" in Swahili, and it's a title she more than lives up to with her music and presence. Since debuting in 2006 with the thought provoking single "Wrong Address," the Jamaican-born singer has established herself as one of the most powerful and distinctive voices in reggae, blazing a new trail in a genre that has long been male-dominated.

Born in Accra, Ghana, Selasee grew up exposed to the colorful and energetic sounds of Highlife Music. With this exposure, Selasee created his own style -- a unique blend of Reggae, West African Highlife and American Pop music. Threading together English and West African lyrics for a bright and captivating sound. Recently, Selasee embarked on a new album, produced by the legendary Aston "Family Man" Barrett of Bob Marley & The Wailers -- Bob Marley's Music Director. This album also included special appearances by the Legendary Frankie Paul, Anthony B as well a number of up and coming reggae artists. The title track "Time For peace" was awarded "Best World Beat Song" by the Akademia Music Awards in December 2014.
